I made one of these a couple of years ago and I found the tutorial to be straightforward and easy to follow but I could have saved some time if I'd been more careful during the final assembly. As planers were not a good option with the grain going every which way I had to spend ages sanding it even, and then some additional ages sanding it even again because I'd made one end a full centimeter lower than the other.
