The Art of the Book Cover- Turn of the 19th Century [OC]
My father collected books for much of his life. Searching through old book shops, second hand stores, garage sales, he was always happiest when he had "found one!". He eventually built up a collection of approximately 5,000 books. The colourful, and beautifully designed covers were a backdrop to my childhood. I have selected a few here to share with you.
