Shepard Fairey Turns Himself In to Detroit Police
The artist Shepard Fairey has turned himself in to the authorities in Detroit, where he faces felony charges of malicious destruction of property, The Detroit Free Press reported Tuesday. The police in Detroit issued an arrest warrant for Mr. Fairey in June, a month after he visited the city to create an authorized mural, his largest so far. Mr. Fairey’s work was also on display at the Library Street Collective art gallery.
