I feel sorry for some of these people, they did horrible horrible things, but at the same time it was a; do I stand up for these people and end up dead or in that camp myself or do I keep my mouth shut and suffer the horrible psychological affects of what I'm doing and knowing it's wrong. These guys were in a rock and hard place situation, something many never want to think about. I don't believe too many could honestly stand up and say they would stop doing their job and face their death head on. He at least sought to be transferred to the front lines to get away from this. A place he knew he could die but still serve as was his duty at the time.
