Alex Rocco, actor who played Moe Greene in The Godfather, dies aged 79
The Emmy winner also played Itchy & Scratchy studio chief in The Simpsons. Rocco’s daughter, Jennifer, announced his death on Saturday. Further details were not immediately available. Rocco’s career spanned five decades and he remained active until his death. His most famous role came in 1972’s The Godfather, in which he played a humbled casino owner who meets his fate on a massage table.

According to IMDB his career spanned from 1965 and has 2 movies that are still in post-production. I liked him in " That Thing You Do" as Sol Siler the smarmy condescending head of Playtone Records. He's one of those actors you've probably seen dozens of times and never knew who he was. Shame he's gone, he was great.
