I have pretty kickin' ADHD, and I had a big problem with stimulant meds in my early twenties. I'm glad I kicked them, it was nasty. Unfortunatly, I feel like I'll never be able to concentrate fully again, but cest la vie
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you're doing alright even if you're not able to concentrate as well as you would like. It's a hard thing to have cognitive problems in such a demanding culture, and it can be very frustrating on a personal level as well. It's particularly discouraging when the help that is offered doesn't actually help. I'm glad you were able to break free of dependency. That's no small accomplishment!
Now that's scary...You may not,but at least your not dependent on them to function anymore.
