I remember reading about this a while ago and being wowed. It's cool that someone found some artifacts. Imagine the world of gaming today if that partnership didn't explode.

No, just a proprietary port, a lot of consoles had them for 'future' use.

That port probably evolved into the serial port that was on the first run PlayStation 1.
I wonder if there's any finished/unfinished games for it?
That is really cool. I'd love to pop in some of SFAMI cartridges into it and just play. Wonder if PS1 games on it would work.
