This may be cute now, if you ignore the overt bigotry and pandering to white supremacists and neoconfederates that has so marked Trump's campaign. But as we see bigots, white supremacists and neoconfederates, having rallied for Trump's election, now taking their places at the highest levels of his cabinet and the national government, you'd have to be willingly blind not to see how seriously this piece will read several years into the Trump Administration.
Trump campaigned as a Know Nothing. He knew what he was doing. So do a lot of Americans. Perhaps not at freebeacon.com, or perhaps they just think it's funny. Not "ha ha" funny. More like baring teeth funny.
Let's hope we are not entering a pre-war Germany.
