I'm going through some old photo shoots I did with my friend from Disney. We went hiking and stumbled across this abandoned village, it was bizarre because it looked like people just ran off with the clothes on their back. Doors wide open, old chinaware, cooking utensils, bedding, everything, even family pictures. The back story as we found out later was a big land company wanted the land for a golf resort...they paid handsomely to these poor village folks and they literally took the money and ran. Well, the government stopped the deal, halted the project and slowly the village is being reanimated, but still rustic and raw. It's far from the roads well traveled.

I was using a Nikon D70, kit lens 18-200, lowest f/3.5 and ISO 1200, shutter speed at 1/40-1/60...dangerous I know and set W/B to auto because of the complexity of lighting. Not much post work.
Sorry for all of the edits, but I think the tech data was lacking for our friends in photography.
These are some really good photos, I hope the quality of mine will consistently be closer to this!
Technically the pics have a lot of noise, but it I didn't care about that. I wanted the light, composition and feeling, We so much get caught up in technicality and miss what we really want to convey. If you liked those, then I am happy...and thank you for noticing!
