Traditional employers like General Electric are using artificial intelligence and other elements of the work-on-demand business model to manage traditional full-time workforces.
All of this smacks of Taylorism, treating people like machines. When you develop teams there is a strong social element to the formation and maintenance of groups of people. This article totally leans towards an AI (Oh of course we still need a person or 2). I see things like this and have to assume the writer never managed people in their life.
