Hate speech is a lot like bullying, something that can't be stopped unless the essence of humanity itself is stopped. There will always be hate, there will always be bully's and there will always be those looking to oppose them with half-baked ideas like censorship that don't work.
Or worse yet, using those half baked ideas for reasons other than altruism.
