I think this car is kick-ass and the retro look does remind me strongly of 5th Element somehow. If "they" would hand me one for pimping it with paint, I'd be very glad. It has some nice forms and shapes to play with. The front grill is just sweet. I am not really sure why an electric car needs a grill, but then again: simple man, not the inventor of warm water et cetera.
Another great thing is Kalashnikov itself. The guns are easy to maintain, repair, replicate and parts are commonly available or easy to create. Let's hope they have put that idea to work with this car. If so, that would be revolutionary for this time.
