There is a basic principle at play: my right to punch ends where your face begins. The debate, of course, always centers around where the other people's faces begin. The question with this precedent will therefore be whether unvaccinated people during this pandemic pose as much of a threat to other people as the unvaccinated people during the smallpox epidemic.
