Author Safety Survey
Bookangel launched a survey into author safety and privacy issues, such as online harassment, threats and physical confrontations. This was simply to find out how common these issues are, and what type of problems writers face. The results are shocking!

Cutting to the chase, here are some of the results:
67% of respondents thought one quarter of authors or fewer were harassed. 53% of respondents had been harassed. This means 36% were being harassed while thinking they were one of the few.
20% of all respondents had encountered serious safety issues and physical threats due to their writing.
