Comment AdvantheraI think it would depend on the definition of use. I lurk in /t/newtribes a lot, and like having it as a quick click up there, but I'm not sure lurking could be considered as using from a programming perspective. I would rather the ability to set the tribes I see up there, and the remaining being filled by my most "used"!

I find the build mode to be much more intuitive, fun and easy to use. I love being able to move whole rooms! I also really enjoy the way emotions work, becoming focused and inspired, and how they tied that into going to work/school and skill building. Not only does the game run smoother (Sims 3 was such a beast) I think it looks smoother too! I really do't mind the more cartoon-ish look. It works for me.
I don't miss the open world, my little neighborhood gives me enough to explore to keep me happy, and I find the loading time between lots doesn't interrupt my gameplay too much. I was sad when there were no pools, but that's since been remedied! Also, I never really liked the Toddler stage, so I wasn't too sad to see it missing.
I do agree with what you said above though - I constantly find myself hitting 4 thinking it will speed up until the end of the action! I also had to change the camera controls to the Sims 3 way, I couldn't adjust to the new ones.

Congrats! That's always a fun development! We just filled our fist shelf, so still a ways to go for the bookshelf acheivment ;)
What are your thoughts on Formula D? I watched the TableTop episode and thought it looked intriguing.. Also have you tried Forbidden Desert? If you like Forbideen Island I recommend it! Time to start working on that second bookshelf :P

I have one that I started a month ago, it's on it's third generation. I might have gotten distrated by some other challenges... haha! I do plan to go back to it! It's just after the initial "OMG No Money" and making sure my characters didnt' die from embarrassment I started to get a little bored, it was just like any other game.

I prefer Sims 4 to Sims 3, but my god, I could not agree with you more about the rugs!
