The government failed big time here. I was looking at pics on twitter (I think on friday?) and couln't believe that a country as powerful as the US would just leave their top equipment out to get bashed up.
If only there was some way our $339 million aircraft could somehow move out of the way of bad weather. You know, like if they flew. At least it's not like we have any intelligent, active adversaries working against us. Otherwise untold billions of dollars worth of piled wreckage and constructive fraud could be a cause for concern.
It's that one design flaw that did them in...they can't fly.
So, who's going to be held accountable?
People need to be taught that freedom isn't free. Obviously, this being Trump's Amerika, that applies to some more than others.
Even commercial airliners have the sense to move their planes when they have beforehand knowledge about an incoming disaster. You don't even need anything but a pilot and a place far away to land.
Well, what you're assuming there is that the aircraft aren't made of stealth Balsa wood held together by advanced composite Elmer's glue. Ask anyone that's been properly brainwashed, they'll tell you. A third of a billion dollars only buys the aircraft itself. If you want to actually operate the aircraft, you can't cheap out there. So of course you pile them up like cordwood.
