This is excellent writing, of course it's for tin foil hat wearers, aka dissenters.
Kicking around doing routine things tonight, my time, I keep coming back to this comment. It feels like you mean prey. Not like the deer-caught-in-the-headlights kind.
More like somebody looking around in the dark with a flaky flashlight, no signal, loudly asking "Hello? Is anyone there" over and over again like it wasn't the second act of a horror movie. I see what you mean. That's no way to go through what little screen time one has left at that point.
This is going to take some mulling over.
Just because you think they're out to get you doesn't mean they're not.
