    It's not like his lack of regulating banks (as I recall a centrist Liberal Party in Canada was able to do this, and he was so blinded by his so called balanced third way that he did not) and his dive into a pointless war did not annihilate the party in the eyes of many progressives. I do not understand how Blair can not feel absolutely ashamed of what he did.

    In a more interesting article, the New Statesman claimed that the Labour party members were choosing death by boredom versus death by glory. It's seems likely that this is what is happening. I really think that all of the candidates in the UK Labour Leadership election are just not the best that the party has to offer.
