I have the Mavic from DJI. It really does have a range of 4 miles, it can follow moving objects once you tag them and will automatically return to a geotagged departure point if it looses contact with a signal or the power is running low. It also has anti collision capability. It is a pretty serious toy. It also has 4k optics both video and stills.
All in all, the Ruger Mini 14 I own is a lot more dangerous than this drone. The US government just did away with having to register consumer drones with the FAA.
