How the Democratic Party Failed By Repudiating Their Legacy as ‘The Party of the People’
As the Democrats and their acolytes in the media pivot towards hysteria against ‘the others’ to explain their failures, let us not forget what has happened over the past thirty years, culminating in the stunning election of 2016... [Sam Seder interviews Thomas Frank.]

Identity politics,
the concept Dems so embrace, is no more than the extension of segregation policies the Dems have so historically perfected.
Somebody having a gender, or an ethnicity, or a race or speaking a language in common with their grandparents has absolutely nothing to do with racial segregation. You've made this claim before. Let's skip the part where you deny it later. Okay, let's review: Is someone having a particular identity the same thing as racial segregation, yes or no?
Segregation is not necessarily exclusively racial.
Live and learn.
I thought we talked about not denying what you just said this time. Especially since this time, as before, you went out of your way to specifically say ‘segregation,’ by that exact name. This groaning you emit from under the bridge from time to time, between meals of straggling sheep and incautious travelers no doubt, comes down to you saying in your outraged Archie Bunker voice that "civil rights is segregation." However brilliant you think this insight of yours makes you, let me assure you it's not as smart as you seem to think it is. Even if you think 'identity politics' means exactly what you hear it being used for on Republican talk radio and the likes of Breitbart and WND, conflating even that with racial segregation's not the masterstroke of brilliance you think. It's creepy troll-talk. It's you pretending you don't know what segregation is, like when you pretend you've never heard of racism before. Just because it makes you snicker to say something doesn't make it true, or even sane.
"civil rights is"
not identity politics.
Identity politics is by practice/definition,
segregation.
As long as you haven't any actual understanding of either 'identity politics' or 'segregation.' Because if you do have even a passing familiarity with what those terms mean, this is asinine nonsense.
Thanks for your affirmation.
It's your word salad. I'm not judging. If you want to claim 'Social Security is chattel slavery' or 'Your high school transcripts are desecration of a corpse' or 'The right to bear arms is child molestation,' that's up to you. Now, isn't this where you work in one of your self-described lies about laughing out loud?
Nah, you may wander just where you will.
Maybe the Bazooka Joe comic explanation will make more sense to you.
