BitTorrent’s DHT Turns 10 Years Old
DHT, the much misunderstood, frequently maligned, yet somewhat critical aspect of Bittorrent turned ten recently. Launched initially by the Azureus client (now Vuze), BitTorrent Inc.’s version joined its mainline client a few weeks later. Now, a decade on, DHT underpins much of the BitTorrent world.
