This just proves what I've been saying, Europe's problem is not that Merkel is too strong, is that she's too weak. She's the only right-wing leader in Europe that's not a near psychopath, but every time she tries to implement a policy that does remind people of a dystopian sci-fi villain her own party rises against her.
