Even the cast of Legion didn't understand the show
Thrilled but kinda baffled by Marvel's mind-bending new TV series Legion? You're not alone... Jean Smart, who plays unorthodox therapist Melanie Bird, told Digital Spy that she and her castmates weren't always 100% sure what was supposed to be happening. "We would sort of compare notes. 'Did you read the new script? Did you get it? Did you understand?' - and we just decided to give ourselves over to that, let it carry us along like a roller coaster," she revealed.
