It was once its own code base, fast and quite nice. Then, it became a sibling to Safari and Chrome. Still using it primarily on Mac OS, iOS and Windows, but the apparent advantages are less than they once were. One recent addition I don't mind is being able to grab tabs I have open on other devices and pull them onto whatever machine I'm using. That's fluid.
