I know that in Scotland you don't have to register your change of name whereas in England you do. This is why you have people walking around with Celtic/Pictish/Norse/Druidic names and calling their baby things like Pitrevvac or having Bhreacain or the like on their driving licenses and passports despite their real names being Ruairidh or Ailidh
