CD Projekt stock is worth a quarter of what it was before Cyberpunk 2077 released
A new report from Business Insider Poland paints a grim picture for CD Projekt: the company’s value has cratered by over 75% since just before the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. A business that once boasted a market capitalisation of over 40 billion Polish złoty—briefly becoming the most valuable games company in Europe—is now worth less than zł10 billion.

Cyberpunk 2077 Receives ESRB Rating of "Mature" - Also Genital Customization...?
The ESRB Rating for Cyberpunk 2077 has been released and is labeled as “M” for mature, mostly for good reason. The rating is justified due to numerous accounts of violence and depictions of mutilated bodies. Apparently there is even a mission in the game where you will have to hammer nails through a characters hands and feet.

Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC will be revealed before release, CD Projekt suggests
Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC and story expansions will be announced before the game’s September release, developer CD Projekt has suggested. Speaking in a Polish investor Q&A on Thursday (translated by VGC), CD Projekt president Adam Kiciński confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will have “no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had.” The comment suggests Cyberpunk will receive content equivalent to or bigger than the two full story expansions and 16 DLC packs The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt did following its release in May 2015.

Fight, Magic, Item: The Comfort Of Simple RPGs
The last two games I played on my Switch were the original Dragon Quest and Breath of Fire, two early examples of the Japanese role-playing game. Today, they might seem overly simplistic: grind for levels, brute-force through a boss, repeat. These two games are, if anything, even more simplistic than their peers. And right now, that’s just what I want.

Cyberpunk 2077 Development is proceeding at full speed, exciting line-up for E3
The mainstream narrative of esports has been lovingly crafted by those who benefit from its success. There’s big money in esports, they say. You’ve heard the stories. Teenaged gamers flown overseas to sunny mansions with live-in chefs. The erection of $50 million arenas for Enders Game-esque sci-fi battles. League of Legends pros pulling down seven-figure salaries. Yet there’s a reason why these narratives are provocative enough to attract lip-licking headlines in business news and have accrued colossal amounts of venture capital. More and more, esports is looking like a bubble ready to pop.

The Outer Worlds: Interview with Senior Narrative Designer Kathryn Megan Starks
Obsidian Entertainment has garnered a reputation over the last decade and a half for a unique penchant for writing engaging and reactive narratives, usually with a heavy emphasis on weighing a high degree of consequence against the player's choices. The Outer Worlds seems to be poised to continue that trend. We already saw a glimpse of the game's unique brand of humor in our preview of the title, but being able to see the long-term narrative permutations in a limited amount of time is a bit more difficult.
