I'm going to be incredibly boring here, but I just moved into my first flat, and it's going to be a washing machine. Currently hand-washing clothes and it sucks. Roll on next pay day!
I was old enough to partly wash my own clothes when washing machines weren't a thing. When you've been washing by hand for a while, washing machine is the best and very exciting purchase, not boring in the least :)
