Commented in PM presents 'conclusive proof' Iran lied 'big time' about nuclear weapons program
Technically, the story goes, South Africa developed them then sold the program to Israel just before the end of S.A.'s Apartheid government.

Commented in Advertisers ask YouTube to pull ads from Alex Jones' channels
whatever insane minority can shriek the loudest.
At what point in making my buying decisions am I insane and when am I shrieking? Or is it when firms make business decisions that they're insane and shrieking?
Advertisers aren't "supporting" the viewpoints you disagree with.
How do you figure? What's the money for, then? If that's so, what's the problem with losing your advertisers? Hurt feelings?
Virtue signal to the loonies
Oh, wait... I get it now. It's the free market itself that's, per you, insane and shrieking? Maybe you should work to make boycotts illegal. Ooh, or maybe you should go after the boycotters instead. How about making any pocketbook decisions acts of terror?

Commented in Mexico President Cancels U.S. visit after Trump Wall Comments
A lot of Trump supporters in particular now believe this "alternative fact" when what they were really shown was a different Apartheid wall, which served as the inspiration.

Commented in UK lawmakers push to outlaw criticism of Zionism
I don't get the big deal with anti-Semitism.
When it's not being used to wave away any and all criticism of Israeli policy, it's also a personal problem that afflicts all-too-many people and maybe the darkest parts of human history.
I can't stand the fucking Jews.
One of the disadvantages of making comments like this online is that you can't see people's reactions. Pay close attention to people's faces the next few times you talk smack like this. For instance, I can see it whenever I casually mention that Jesuits are the most vicious and bloodthirsty of the Christian death cults, whose black robed figures have overseen the systematic annihilation of countless peoples. You can see people starting to think less of you in the eyes.
Jews, like most "pure" races think they are better than other people; they are the true racists.
Yeah. Make a note: whenever you find yourself about to call so-and-so the 'true racists,' you're the racist. Nothing personal, nothing against you, nothing to do with whomever you're talking about. It's what it is.
When was the last time a Jew did something that benefited you or me?
Go on using phrases like 'the Jews' and 'a Jew' instead of 'Jewish people' and 'Jewish person' because it'll save people time making up their minds about you. People, for instance, like the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, intersexed, and asexual people who, like Jewish folks, live everywhere all around you in everyday life without you realizing. Maybe you're not noticing because it turns out they don't all have horns.
It's always them wanting more for Israel, or they want tax breaks for their corporation or they want some kind of concession or some kind of recognition because their aunt's brother's uncle's daughter's niece's grandmother died in the holocaust.
This resentment comes from anger. What's the source of that underlying anger? Something to work on for later. Maybe after you look up the difference between Zionist and Jewish, Bright Eyes.
Big fucking deal, get over it.
Easy for you to say.
Everything should be merit-based or need-based.
Hard to take this seriously. After all, when was the last time a antisemite like you did anything for me? Hey, though, I want to you know we're still good. I don't mind you've got some things to get past. I wrestled for quite some time with my problems with religious folks. It was maybe a bit immoderate. See, I'm from Utah. Another place called Zion where one tribal church runs the family, the state, and the economy. At least it doesn't have an apartheid system like Israel, though, so it's got that going for it. So I can relate.

Commented in 9 dead in shooting at historic Charleston African American church. Police chief calls it ‘hate crime.’
I was just in the t/lounge, where we were speaking about what our ideal Snapzu looked like. One user, I think it was spaceghoti, has a great quote: "My ideal Snapzu is an open market of ideas and open discussion. We're not always going to agree, but we're not going to punish each other for it."
I really resonate with that! So, in the spirit of building that community, I'm going to post an opinion that I know a few people will probably disagree with and I welcome any disagreement and comments from you all.
This was a racially motivated killing. I don't think there's any way we can deny that. The shooter had a jacket with the symbols for South African and Zimbabwe apartheid on them - not something you see often in the Southern USA. He went to a historically black church - one that has a history of experiencing racially motivated violence - sat with members of the church for nearly an hour hour and then stood up and murdered six women and three men, all black. He announced to the eyewitnesses left standing that he "had to do it, you rape our women and you're taking over our country. You have to go."
And I can understand why the black community in America is so angry - they have a right to be. There's a complicated backdrop unfolding behind this crime, in a thousand subtle details. A confederate flag at the South Carolina state capitol was lowered to half mast to honor the killings. Media outlets are already describing the killer as "quiet, soft-spoken" and "mentally ill," descriptions which many doubt a black or brown killer would have received. Dylann Storm was taken in alive, despite possessing a gun on his person at the time of his arrest - again, something that anecdotal evidence would have listed as much less likely if the suspect was black.
I'm a younger white woman, and I feel a little odd being the one to speak on a racial issue. But I can understand why black community leaders would be so angry, and I do think this will increase racial tension. And that...

Commented in Apartheid in Detroit: Water For Corporations, Not For People
This is a pretty shitty article, to try to associate it with the apartheid just shows the massive ignorance of the writer. DWSD is going after all delinquent bills, including businesses. The problem is people who are very behind on their bills which is leading to the high bills, companies are using tons of water and so one month behind is a huge bill.
