The real-life canceled candies of Killer Klowns from Outer Space
If you watch Killer Klowns from Outer Space closely enough, you'll spot loads of discontinued 1980s candies -- everything from candy bars to bubble gum. Many of those candies are now out of production, and even the ones that are still around have had major package redesigns. Since there’s so little footage of 1980s candy aisles, this scene is secretly super important.

I imagine it's the same as any computer assisted art form. Anyone could generate a poem from a random list of words, doing no actual work themselves (other than curation?). But since they'd be the one who published it, they'd get the copyright.
Until someone designs an AI that's smart enough to compose music and convince the world it should count as a sapient being and win the lawsuit to secure the rights to the song and convince the world not to destroy it out of fear of a full-blown T2: Judgement Day scenario, that's not going to change.
And let's face it, securing the rights to a pop song is a pretty dumb reason to risk outing yourself as a technological singularity.

The article didn't contain any images, so I had to find my best interpretation of a "default skeleton."
Look at that guy! He's so cute.

I love the idea, but I'm always worried a fully stocked Hosts file might break something. With a normal adblock add-on, if I load up a page and it looks wonky, I can disable it for that site and reload, to see if that fixes things. It's a lot more labor intensive to attempt that sort of bugchecking with a Hosts file.

Prolific Actor Miguel Ferrer Has Passed Away
A prolific and totally unmistakable actor with well over 100 films and television shows on his resume, Ferrer made a handful of stops in the horror genre throughout his career, notably appearing in Stephen King adaptations The Stand and The Night Flier. He also starred in three episodes of “Tales from the Crypt” in the early ’90s, and did uncredited voicework on the 1997 mini-series iteration of “The Shining.” Of course, Ferrer is known to many genre fans as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield...

Gaming Zines And You
There has always been a history of amateur publications in role-playing games, going back as far as Lee Gold's influential APA zine Alarums & Excursions started in the 70s. With the resurgence of zine publishing there has been an explosion of people publishing zines again, and the RPG field isn't alone in this.

What’s Your "Real Life" Strength Rating in Dungeons & Dragons?
So there I was, browsing the PHB and marveling at what the late 1970s considered optimal tabletop game design, when I discovered that, uniquely among all the character attributes, the STR (strength) score has a numerical “in real life” quantification attached.

The Long History of Wes Craven and Sam Raimi's Communication Through Film
It all started back in 1977. In The Hills Have Eyes, a torn Jaws poster was seen in the Carter family’s camper, and many took it as Wes Craven essentially saying that his movie was much scarier than anything on display in Spielberg’s hit money-maker.
