I used to study Shaolin, Tun Leung Chaun (Praying Mantis Fist), and Tai Chi when I was younger. Add in the fact that younger me was a lot more of a hothead, and it should be self explanatory as to why my friends called me the Mad Monk xD

something interesting to note: you will not see downvote options if downvoting from a tribe view, you must be in the snap to see it.

A lot of them are copying article headlines, and I'll agree with you on that, it does flavor the perception a bit. Honestly, I think it is people trying to farm exp by going and posting whatever articles they can find, simply for the points.

well, success is subjective in this case. I personally feel that returning an active moderating team alone to some of the more spammed tribes with inactive chiefs is some measure of success, and growth will take time, especially in a fairly small community like snapzu.
