This is harrowing. I had never heard of appendix cancer before...and would never have imagined this little organ could be so destructive if it turned cancerous.
So why,when I had a colonoscopy (was awake during it) did the Dr. not look inside my appendix?
He showed me the opening, to it. Next time,I'll ask for a peek inside.
