Man, science is coming such a long way, what a time to be alive!!1 :D
Also, the possible health benefits from moving away from constant exposure to rare (and possibly poisonous) metal can only be good right?
Though I do have to wonder how convenient this really will be. Will it only work on certain types of plants? What unforeseen hardships will crop up if this idea proves to be sustainable? How much non-sustainable resources were used to create this, will it outweigh the cons of production and if it's even useful enough to compete at current technology's level.
Nevertheless, it's still pretty fucking cool.
