Ashland County Sheriff's Deputy Brock Mrdjenovich fatally shot 14-year-old Jason Ike Pero last week after receiving a report that a male was walking down the street with a knife in Odanah, Wisconsin, about a 4-hour drive northeast of Minneapolis.

The 12-year-old girl's father has been trying to clear his daughter's name ever since she was suspended for three days from Trinity Lutheran School on Geneva Street in Racine. Police Officer, 3 Others Killed in a Shooting in Wisconsin
A police officer and three other people were shot and killed when a domestic dispute at a bank escalated into shootings at three locations in northern Wisconsin on Wednesday, investigators said. A suspect was in custody. The shootings happened at a bank, a law firm and an apartment complex, where officers, including a SWAT team, had a standoff with the suspect for several hours before ending in a volley of gunfire around 5 p.m.

Police say 28-year-old Tiffany Brick, the mother of the two girls, left her home in the Village of Genoa City around 6:30 a.m. with her children, 8-year-old Katie Brick and 6-year-old Jenna Brick.
