What are some habits you have developed since you came to this site?
For me, I've started to click the Notification History in search of updates almost all the time whenever I'm afk for a short time.

And I'd also like to ask, is there anyone making use of the Home feed? It doesn't look like it's that useful to me, and whenever I see "266 new (click to show)" I get rather discouraged.
I use it frequently. I don't read trough ALL of it. I just see the recent ones and see if any thread in particular is getting alot of comments/attention.
Yeah, I do. Hasn't been that high for me since the first day I was on, though.
The more people you follow the more activity you will see!
True that, I'm almost maxed out.
The feed is the best part. Just make sure you follow decent people if you are to use the following feed.
Dont wait that long until it reaches that much
Yep, I usually get my "fix" as soon as I see even 10 new activity.
I've just been checking very frequently so far. I'm sure one day I'll be following more people and wait longer and see a nice, long list waiting for me :)
I use the home feed, then I switch to "all" when I'm caught up.
That's where I get most of my content. Just have to not let it get that high. It's usually only 20-30 new posts for me. Easy enough for me to skim through and find interesting content.
I reaaly wish that could be live feed
It is a live feed.
I think he means if we could have notifications displayed, just like in the notification history.
It's late, I'm a little slow. Can you elaborate a little, I'm not following.
If you'd get a real time pop-up or notification "drunkenninja has just made a new comment in thread x!"
Isn't that whats happening? It slides out from the top bar and you also see it in the notification menu. Are you proposing to have these certain notifications show up in the feed?
exactly
I actually browse through the "new" section. Doing so on reddit would be hell.
Are you talking about the front page?
Haha, no. Not the front page of reddit but the new section itself. Where the most recent of recents can be found.
Ah so the feed. I was asking if you meant Snapzu's front page, because that only shows posts that have a score of +3 or better which is low enough to include a lot of things, but hard enough for spam or crappy content to never get in.
Ah . Well I go to the front page yes, but you can also sort by newest. I assume those do not have to have 3 upvotes to show up?
Good question, not really sure though.
Apparently a post needs to have 3 upvotes to show up, yes
I am actually commenting when I feel I have something to say, since the site is relatively small it means there is a higher chance that what I say will be heard. Sites like reddit make me feel small and unheard so I never bothered to contribute.
Snapzu is also friendly so I don't have to worry about trolls being trolls. I dislike internet trolls. I love these trolls
You've just awoken my inner 90s! Troll Dolls! My favorites had jewels in the bellies.
Did you have any that went on the end of your pen(cil)s? Then when you were in class you would play with the hair all the time.... As a male... neither did I.
I remember those --- no didn't actually own any!
I do a lot of "compare profiles". Seems almost everyone on here is kicking my ass!
i've got your back sugartoad, compare away and feel superior.
Yeah haven't even discovered "mobile fire", you got a few to go :D
Yeah it's an underrated feature IMO.
I really like the front page grid view, now called the mag view. It shows things in a nice and visual format and sized by popularity.
Same. I much prefer it to the list view.
I'm always checking my notifications as well, and looking forward to seeing if people replied to my comments or my snaps. I still need to see how the front page looks like in a grid, sounds interesting.
I've basically got a routine of going on the site before work, and after work. Then I look for notifications, then I check recent posts of my favourite tribes, and then I upload one or two snaps etc.
