Noooo! The issue for me is the lack of good alternatives to Firefox. All of the Chrome-based browsers (even the open source varieties) have a ridiculous number of settings that default to extremely poor privacy. As a result, it takes me forever to set up a Chrome-based browser to the privacy settings I want. By contrast, Firefox makes it super-easy in just a few clicks to get the settings to what I want. For someone who re-installs their operating system every couple of years such as myself, this makes a bigger difference than you might think. I actually don't even HAVE a Chrome-based browser installed on my machine at the moment, for exactly this reason.
The end may be near...do not go towards the light! Bummer for all the staff let go but their browser has been crap for awhile now so no real surprise.
I don't know why you would call it crap. I've enjoyed it from when it first started. It's a far better browser than snoopy, control freak Chrome.
It's glitchy as heck.
