I don't get all the people who like to bash Freud, Jung, etc. Sure, they had a lot of weird beliefs and that reflected in their work. Still they were the first to actually think about how the mind works in a rational way. Pretty much every other field of science had people saying crazy shit at the beginning, but for some reason it seems that the psychoanalysts get much more criticism. If anything, I'd say that they followed the scientific method a lot more than the early medical doctors and chemists.
