The airline sought four volunteers “for personnel that needed to be at work the next day.”

Maybe, you know, the guy also needed to be at work the next day?

On the other hand, that's what you get for flying United. All the US airlines kind of suck, but United in my experience is the worst by far.

The email response from the CEO was ridiculous. As a frequently flyer, will make sure to avoid ever flying United in the future.

"Munoz’s email said that the details of the incident are still being looked into, “especially with respect to why this customer defied Chicago Aviation Security Officers the way he did …”""

This is the CEO's take on it. I wonder how Munoz would feel if it were he being volunteered out of his paid for seat.

I hope PRWeek is at least a little embarrassed by the fact that they named Munoz their U.S. Communicator of the Year.

Having been on many flights, I never saw this before. It would very hard for me to keep my hand's down in anger if I was sitting there and did not know the whole story.

Here are some other snaps you may like...
