    So, here's the thing: the main source of antibiotic-resistant bacteria are the millions of factory-farmed animals that are constantly pumped full of antibiotics to help prevent infection from the absurdly filthy conditions they're raised in. This makes lots of money for food companies and pharma companies. So, guess who is lobbying heavily to keep the problem under wraps? And guess who is taking the money and not doing anything to regulate them or to highlight the problem?

    The folks in the government don't care if you die, or your babies die, as long as they make a buck from "donations", "speaking fees", and the like. This is yet another example of how corporate greed and government corruption are literally killing us while we sit around watching TV and arguing which of the prostitutes should be the next president/representative/governor/etc.
