Or you could stop producing meat on an industrial scale and non-sustainable way, or, in the case of the Colonial Pipeline, could stop lobbying against green and sustainable ways to produce energy and driving vehicles.

It would help if America’s major industries weren’t ruled by monopolies; the more concentrated the industry, the more damage can be done by hacking its leading firms. But there’s only one clear way to stop these increasingly destructive ransomware attacks: ban cryptocurrencies.

You could fix the broken US corporate system or ban money? Like either of those things are going to happen.

Yeah, cause hacking & extortion didn't exist before crypto - but banning crypto stops it now. Regulation and policing of crypto will come at its own costs too - paid by whom? What a short sighted piece.
