Good riddance. Racism needs to go.
Absolutely. But erasing history is not going to get rid of it. You need education, you need to tell people about your history and educating them so they don’t repeat it.
Erasing your history and its symbols makes more likely that people repeat the same mistakes, not less.
You may be under the impression the Civil War is over. It's not.
Class conflict at any level is never over. The struggle for human rights continues.
