Great article, thanks for sharing! When I was in 2nd grade, our teacher gave the whole class books as a gift. I don't remember if each of us got different books but the one I received was Little House in the Big Woods. I loved that book to death. I still have it minus the front cover. It was so magical reading about such a different time. I still remember reading about Pa making bullets and Laura burning her fingers on the hot metal and the time when they made maple syrup candy by drizzling syrup in pans full of snow.
