Photographs of the surface of Mars

Absolutely beautiful!
Lets put some footprints on it.
But it's so perfect how it is! We'd probably just mess it up, leave garbage everywhere or something. I do like your adventurous attitude, though. :)
What gives you that idea?
That's so amazingly perfect, lol!
Isn't that a strange though. An entire planet. Void of a single footprint. Just a couple tire tracks.
It is very odd to think of how many places there are out there that are untouched by life. In a way, garbage is more remarkable than an uninhabited planet, but there's just something so compelling and satisfying about a pristine landscape.
It sure is. I love to look out at a snowscape before people trample all over it.

these are amazing. they remind me of grainy photographs that amateur star-gazers are able to take with their telescopes now-a-days. do you think there will ever be amateur satellite users?! like a drone that you can fly wherever you want in the solar system, buzzing around planets and snapping shots like these.... that would be beautiful
I think so, its only a matter of time before putting stuff out into space will be cheap enough for a hardcore astronomer to do so.
Now, that's quite a thought!
Outer space photography often gives me goosebumps. I'm so awestruck by its complexity and mystique. Knowing that one day we will probably unveil a lot of what's unknown just further blows my mind. Sadly I'll be long dead before then.
