Just pay your staff a fucking decent wage. Don't have your staff rely on the goodwill of strangers.
Yep...but that is not how the current system was set up.
I feel like the IRS rule was partially implemented because more and more places had started placing auto tips on smaller parties as well. Not to mention to go orders, I tip for to go orders, but don't auto tip that shit. Of course a major part of it was probably because so many don't report their tips on their taxes.
