A security robot has been put to work in San Francisco in an attempt to deter homeless people from forming tent cities along the sidewalks.

I go by the San Francisco SPCA frequently, if not regularly. It’s not an area with a tent here or there. It’s Trumpvilles block after block, mile after mile. Like the rest of the Bay Area. Bringing in a security robot from Mountain View is — what’s the current expression? — ‘tone deaf.’
Edit: In hindsight, I think I should’ve gone with ‘settler colonialism.’
