And therein lies the problem. Choose what you want: 4-8 more years of politicians and corporations royally screwing you, or neo-fascism. Such are the options of our modern democracy.
I'm guessing the DNC is banking on people not voting for Trump because he's obviously insane. Sort of how the Remain campaign in Britain counted on people realizing how obviously stupid it was to vote for Brexit.
They are literally banking on them voting for them, and like Brexit, the people they count on will watch, not participate.
The people who voted for Brexit realized they may have to endure a few years of discomfort for their freedom. They were more motivated.
