This is mind numbingly terrifying. I don't think that's even a legit word,but it sure fits in this dreadful situation. It's hard to decide which is the scariest, mcrob of them all.
We've been creating superbugs at astonishing speeds through massive antibiotic abuse, especially in cattle. This maximizes profit for both the antibiotic manufacturers and the food corps. Unsurprisingly, the bugs evolve and multiply in healthy individuals, which makes them stronger. None of this is new, this is how diseases become endemic. Also how corporations earn money at the expense of public health.
This will only stop when all the humans are dead.
