Remembering Windows 2000, Microsoft’s Forgotten Masterpiece
Twenty years ago, Microsoft released Windows 2000. A rock-solid, 32-bit business-oriented alternative to Windows 98 and Windows Millennium Edition, it paved the way for future consumer versions, including Windows 10. Here’s why we remember it so fondly.

No, the PlayStation 5 Will Not ‘Put Your PC to Shame’
Earlier this week, Epic Games unveiled the latest version of their long-standing game development engine, Unreal Engine 5. As usual, the company did so with a tech demo showing off the engine’s capabilities. What’s more interesting is that they claimed to have ran this demo on Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 5 hardware, which is powered by AMD Zen 2 CPU and RDNA2 GPU technology.

Disastrous new Windows 10 update is causing serious issues for some people
Over the past few months, Microsoft has managed to release a series of problematic updates for Windows 10 that have caused serious issues for some people, and while we’d have hoped the situation would have improved, it seems like the company has just released its most disastrous Windows 10 update yet.

My top reason why I play in Steam only, in 2020
Let’s face it, Epic is not going anywhere on PC now and they keep doing what they do. Nothing against a good competition, so they have to improve in order to keep up and ultimately the consumer would benefit of the outcome. Unfortunately, the reality is different. Epics store is bare bones and they are paying developers and publishers to release the games timed exclusively.

Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for someone with Nvidia GPU and PC programming knowledge to work on The Last of Us Part II. - Jack of All Controllers
Naughty Dog is looking for a Graphics Programmer, and they’re hoping that person knows anything about Nvidia CUDA or PC programming, DirectX12 experience would be a plus too. This isn’t surprising anymore, given Jason Schreier says Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC and Sony plans more titles to arrive in the future. This isn’t to say the game is 100% coming to PC, however c’mon now, what does Nvidia have to do with an AMD console? No other job listing mentions it, and this is only 2 days ago this was posted (post Horizon PC leak).

Death Stranding Is Coming To PC In 2020
"Kojima Productions is happy to announce Death Stranding will be coming to PC in early summer of 2020," reads the Tweet. Early in Death Stranding's life it had been suggested that it would release on PC, but during its marketing build up this message was abandoned in favour of heavy PS4 branding. This latest announcement, however, states that a PC release is still very much the case, just a few months after the PS4 release.

All the Useless Windows 10 Features Microsoft Should Remove
It’s 2019, and Windows 10 has too many useless and annoying features. Don’t get me wrong: Windows 10 has gotten better and, overall, I love it compared to Windows 8. But some things just need to go.

PC is now Ubisoft’s most profitable platform
Ubisoft has reported financials for its first quarter of the fiscal year, and it looks like the publisher’s increased focus on “the PC opportunity” is paying off. Looks like Rage 2 will be exclusive to the Bethesda launcher on PC
Everyone’s building their own Steam competitor, and Bethesda is no exception. Rage 2 pre-orders went up last night, but only on the Bethesda.net Store, and the game still doesn’t have a Steam page. You might’ve expected this given that Fallout 76 launched exclusively on the publisher’s client, but now it seems certain Bethesda games going forward won’t be coming to other stores.
