Olympics ticket sales fall off a cliff in wake of Zika virus
Ticket revenues for 2016 Rio Olympics events have dropped significantly since an outbreak of Zika virus in Brazil gained international attention. From October until Jan. 20, 2016, ticket revenues for Olympics-related events were increasing an average of 8.85% each week, according to Ticketbis. In the second half of January, however, revenue dropped 56.4%, and continued to drop through at least the first half of February.

State Dept. Issues Travel Alert for U.S. Citizens ‘Throughout Europe’
The State Department just issued a travel alert for all United States citizens throughout Europe after the Brussels terrorist attacks. The U.S. Embassy in Brussels already advised that any Americans currently in Belgium should pay attention to local news, contact family and friends, and “take the appropriate steps to bolster your personal security.” The State Department, meanwhile, is warning all Americans of terrorist groups planning more terror attacks across Europe.

Being Cool Has Ruined Berlin
