The Windows Start menu saga, from 1993 to today
One of the first Windows 10 features we learned about was the return of the Start menu, which is sort of funny, since the concept of the Start menu is over two decades old. If anyone else is getting the "Something happened, Something happened" error when upgrading to Windows 10, change your region. It worked for me.
Windows 7: Control panel > Region and Language > Administrative (the tab) > Change System Locale > "English (United States)" / Windows 8: Region > Administrative Tab > Change System Locale > "English (United States)"

Privacy Activists Aren't Happy with Windows 10
That’s an awful lot of data you’re requesting, Microsoft.A healthy 14 million devices are now running Windows 10, Microsoft’s latest operating system, which was released on July 29. That shouldn’t be too surprising: it was a free upgrade for users of Windows 7 and Windows 8, and reviews have been largely positive from both mainstream critics and PC enthusiasts. Privacy activists, however, are less impressed.

I met my first girlfriend through Windows 95: An Internet love story
Nearly 19 years ago, I said "I love you" to a girl, face-to-face, for the first time. It's a moment I remember clearly: Flowers. A ring. An awkward kiss. Both of our moms hovering around since each had driven us three hours to a halfway point. It was weird like any early teenage romance, but this particular iteration of adolescent awkwardness remains unique even in retrospect.
