Google Assistant has been recording my voice since 2014, here's how I deleted everything

Like Amazon, Google stores and collects the things you say to its assistant on your phone, computer or smart speaker, like the Google Home. Google’s privacy page says it does this to “help you get better results using your voice,” and that it only does this after you say “OK Google” to learn the sound of your voice and how you speak certain words and phrases.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild PC emulator effort gets $23k a month in funding

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best reviewed games of all time, heck it is one of the best games of all time. But the only way to play it is if you got a Switch or a Wii U. Which is why there’s a team of fans working on bringing the game to the PC via an emulator. And because of the size of Breath of the Wild, it’s quite an undertaking. Microsoft is about to turn a phone into a real PC

Microsoft is bringing a full version of Windows 10, complete with desktop app support, to ARM chipsets. The software giant demonstrated Windows 10 running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip today, complete with HD video playback, Adobe Photoshop support, and Microsoft Office. Microsoft expects ARM-based laptops to be the first to adopt this new version of Windows 10. Traditional x86 desktop apps will be emulated, making the experience seamless to the end user. Laptops might be the first, but it’s easy to see past that and realize that this means Microsoft is about to turn a phone into a real PC.

Not even physics can stop Corsair's latest cooling fans

Not satisfied with your noisy old PC cooling fan? Then consider upgrading to Corsair’s latest ML-series fans, which use maglev technology in order to bend the very forces of physics to your PC-cooling will. With earlier, now outdated models, wear was caused by friction from the rapid rotation of the fan, which also generated noise and heat. However, the ML-series magnetically suspends the fan blades away from the central bearing of the motor, resulting in a dramatically quieter and more reliable fan even at higher speeds.

PC sales fall to lowest numbers since 2007

A combination of holiday sales and the launch of Windows 10 weren't enough to slow the decline of PC sales, which have fallen to their lowest levels since 2007. Shipments declined by as much as 10.6 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2015, according to analyst firm IDC. Fellow analyst Gartner had similarly dire numbers to share: 75.7 million PCs shipped for the quarter, down 8.3 percent on 2014. Overall sales for the year were just as bad...
